Data Retention & Deletion
This policy outlines how Omnia Food Supply Sdn Bhd ("PasarNow") manages the retention and deletion of your personal data. We aim to keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
1 Retention Periods
We retain personal information for the following durations:
- Active Account Data: Retained for the duration your account remains active.
- Transaction Records: Retained for 7 years to comply with Malaysian tax and auditing requirements.
- Support Logs: Retained for up to 2 years after the resolution of a query.
2 Data Deletion Process
When the retention period expires or a deletion request is fulfilled:
- Personal identifiable information (PII) is permanently removed from our active databases.
- Backup data is overwritten in accordance with our system rotation cycles.
- Where data is required for statistical analysis, it is fully anonymized so individuals can no longer be identified.
3 Requesting Data Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. To do so, you can:
- In-App: Navigate to Profile Settings > Delete Account and follow the prompts.
- Email: Send a request to feedback@omniafoodsupply.com.my from your registered email address.
*Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We may still be required to retain transaction records for statutory legal compliance as mentioned above.
